An emerging job portal concentrating mainly on the job openings in the state of J&K. This also provides a platform for employers to post job openings at their company/firm and get attention of job seekers. All the services offered are free of cost.
Who are we?
We are two friends and engineering graduates of the class of 2007-2011 of Government College of Engineering & Technology, Jammu. We always wanted to create some thing or some idea which could help our people in a more realistic manner. So a thing like jknaukri.com was always on cards for us. But we feel strange that this idea never struck us untill April, 2012. I (Atul Gupta) am currently working in an MNC and Milan Pal Singh is a National Level Roller Skater who has represented J&K state at many levels. I am the founder of Jknaukri.com while Milan Pal Singh is the co-founder and also heads the operations at Jammu.
Why Founded?
Jknaukri.com was created because there was no other such alternative present currently in the state which could help people get all the job updates at one single platform.
How is this different?
This is different, or we can say better, than the others because you get to choose from only what you are concerned with. Many job forums and portals already present on the Internet will provide much more jobs than us, but this will always be your first choice when you want to search jobs specific to our state, J&K. Additionally, we ensure that you don't even miss small opportunities that comes up in local markets.
We can assure this because we have seen your interest. We started just over a month ago and yet we have more than 1200 members now associated with us on our facebook page.
What we do?
We are mere publishers of the job ads. We don't associate with employers in any way. Our job is just to make people aware about an opening. We don't and will never take the responsibility of the authenticity of any employer.
We work hard every day and night just to get the best platform for best people and thats our tagline as well. Despite what many people think, we are not regional discriminators, we just post whatever we get. We always try that you never miss an opportunity to get your dream job or atleatst something that suits your education and competence.
Where are we located?
We are currently working out of nowhere. This is the truth of Internet world. So you can work from anywhere. We don't own an office. We just sit at our home, on our desk and post ads whenever we get time and we usually get a lot of it.
How do we plan to accomplish what we claim?
We have currently provided many services for both jobseekers and employers and will always try to enrich our website and technologies to make it more and more user friendly. Currently, there is no service for instant job alerts, but we will try to incorporate that as well in some time.
