Goyal, an IIT Roorkee alumnus (formerly University of Roorkee) and a former scientist with ISRO, with the objective of promoting Education, Employability and empowerment at the National Level.

The institute through its eight centres, three in National Capital Region (Delhi & Greater Noida), four in Jammu & Kashmir and one in Shimla, trains more than 5000 trainees per year in its flagship National Council of Vocational Training Trades (NCVT trades) and various skill development programmes supported by Central & State Ministries, Public Sector undertakings and private organisations.

Branches in J&K:
5 branches in the valley at Sopore, Naseembagh, Pulwama, Anantnag & Khaniyar. The institute in Sopore was the first IGNOU study centre of state. Since 2000, the centre trains 500 students per year in BCA, MCA programmes.

ICI Industrial Training Institute (ICI), A Govt. Affiliated I.T.I, was founded in 1985, by our late Founder-Director Shri S.K. Goyal, an IIT Roorkee alumnus (formerly University of Roorkee) and a former scientist with ISRO, with the objective of promoting Education, Employability and empowerment at the National Level. ICI Industrial Training Institute’s education has impacted more than a lakh of students in the country in area such as computer education and Engineering (Electrician, Fitter, Welder, Autobody painter and Draughtsman Civil) . Today, ICI with its presence through its 8 centers spread all over northern India has remained true to his mission.
ICI Industrial Training Institute has undertaken a pioneer initiative in the skill building domain to impact India’s Rural , Urban and semi urban community. ICI ITI aims to create credible, collaborative, competency based and transparent skill training system with the Govt.

Presence in National Capital Region (Delhi & Greater Noida)
ICI – Industrial Training Institute (also known as I.T.I.Habibpur) is one of the oldest I.T.I. of Greater Noida area, Uttar Pradesh. The Institute was established in August 2000 with two trades viz. Electrical & computer having intake capacity of 167 seats, and now, in its 10th successful year, it has added 4 more Engineering Trades (Fitter, Welder, Autobody Painter and Draughtsman Civil) has risen to the status of one the most reputed I.T.I. of the state with an intake capacity of 292 seats. .Institute is also registered as a Vocational Training Provider (VTP)for conducting Modular Employable Skill (MES).
The Institute has two buildings located in the Greater Noida area and operates 9 trades -5 trades under National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT)(viz. electrician, fitter, welder & draughtsman (civil) & COPA) and 4 sectors of Modular Employable Skill (MES) viz. Electrical, Information & Communication Technology, Construction under Skill Development Initiative Scheme (SDIS). ICI has trained more than 500 students under MES courses.
The Institute is highly recognized by Large Scale Industry Association (AGNI) & Indian Industry Association (IIA), of Greater Noida Area for its quality training and meeting time-bound objectives. Major automobile industries like India Yamaha Motors, Motherson, H-One, Honda-Seil are our recruiters. The Institute is an active member of FICCI Skill Development Forum and contributes significantly to its aims and objectives.
The industry supports institute for both - regular technical inputs & innovative teaching methods and manpower recruitment. Oerilkon Graziano(Greater Noida) expressed its desire to support Institute with technical inputs for fitter trade and is major recruiter for same trade. Similarly, industrial painter module was developed by India Yamaha for the Institute. Yamaha, on an average, recruits 60 skilled manpower monthly for same
The Institute has currently been empaneled by Directorate General of Employment & Training (DGE&T) to train 500 rural youth of J&K under the Prime Minister Special Programme on Jammu & Kashmir. First batch of 32 students (21st November’11 – 11th January’12) at the institute and are undergoing training & placement in “Basic Electrical and house wiring” course
The centre at Daryaganj was established in 1985, and is well known known for IT training past two and half decades.
Presence in Jammu & Kashmir
ICI was the only institute to open a branch in Kashmir valley in 1990. Since then, we have opened 5 branches in the valley at Sopore, Naseembagh, Pulwama, Anantnag & Khaniyar. The institute in Sopore was the first IGNOU study centre of state. Since 2000, the centre trains 500 students per year in BCA, MCA programmes.
The institute in Khaniyar has trained & places more than 2000 students in DTP & Tally trades and is one of the oldest center of its region. The institute has also trained 500 Below Poverty Line (BPL) under USEP training component of SJSRY Scheme from 2008. Despite the hardships in the valley in the account prevailing conditions, the institute has effectively established itself, and, has become a force to reckon with in the area of skill development in Jammu & Kashmir.
With over two decades of experience in executing skill development projects for rural India with central & state ministries, public sector units and private organisations, ICI is highly recognized for its quality training, industrial linkages and meeting time-bound objectives.
Today our sole passion is to deliver the best skill training, using appropriate software tools and ensuring step by step guidance to its students. The method of imparting education and the course material is made so simple, educative practical and participative that it ensures that every individual grasps every tiny detail thoroughly.
