TREKKING AND ADVENTURE:
The Khyber Resort is a great starting point for treks and walks and whether you’re a true adventurer or an enthusiastic beginner, our trained experts will guide you through the terrain. The trek to Khilanmarg Valley to see spring flowers is amongst the most enchanting. The more adventurous can trek through snow-clad mountains to the serene Alpather Lake. For anglers, there’s the Ningle Nallah and the Ferozepur Nallah, both streams famous for trout fishing.

HORSE RIDING:
Take guide-led tours of the meadows and plains in the vicinity, from late spring through to the autumn. Stop for a picnic lunch, an afternoon of rest and recreation, or simply to smell the roses.

CARTING, SLEDDING AND SNOW-SCOOTERS:
There are many ways to get the most out of the vertical inclines and descents of Gulmarg, even if you’re not a skier. Toboggans, carts, and snowmobiles make for exhilarating rides and family fun. Top-notch equipment from the Indian Institute of Skiing and Mountaineering is made available to our guests and sessions are supervised by trained instructors, who will ride alongside beginners for added safety.

CHAIKASH
Named after the Kashmiri word for soaked tea leaves, Chaikash is a space as refined as the chais, coffees, tisanes and kahwah that may be enjoyed here. Our Tea Lounge and Terrace is part elegant patiserrie, part private club and wholly irresistible. Enjoy serene views, delectable finger food, and tea the way it is drunk in Kashmir – and well beyond. The Tea Lounge opens on to a terrace which flows further down to a series of cascading terraces, ideal for al fresco dining and mountain-gazing. CALABASH
